We have promised and we have delivered...
Okay kids, we've promised some exciting news and big things that will be happening here at Project Fiction, and we are here to announce that we have fulfilled those promises. Or at least just one. We have come up with something so cool it will knock your socks off. You just won't believe it. What is it? It's a bird! It's a plane! It's a... a... what is it? Wait for it, wait for it... (okay now I'm just teasing you.)

Project Publish!

What does this mean? It means that we are now going to accept stories to be published to the Project Fiction website. (I know, right.) You can read fiction straight from our web site, with pretty layouts and cool designs, instead of linking to another online fiction web site. You can click this link to learn more about this awesome feature or click this one to go straight to the fiction. Your choice.

Enjoy!!

september updates
First let's all take a moment to let your eyes adjust. Now let me take you on the tour, you'll find all things listwise in the sidebar on the left. The rest you'll find at the top of your screen. Got it? Shweet. Let's all thank Coco for her artistic awesome-ness.

First off we would like to announce this month as the official Discover Wattpad Month, meaning we will only take nominations from Wattpad web site because we would like to make our Good Fiction list more broad and we'd also like for you all to discover this wonderful site full of awesome online fiction. That is, if you haven't already. So get reading some Wattpad fiction and start nominating. Now onto the monthly updates.

Let's start with last month's challenge winner. ESRTW for her cute haiku People Watching. Since we've had only one entry this round, we decided to post another challenge this time around. Go have a gander, maybe compete some.

Book Club's theme this month is Crime Fiction. Read, take the book suggestions, give us some suggestion, send a review our way, comment- anything. Just let us know we aren't completely boring the shit out of you with this whole Book Club thing.

This month's featured author is the poet CuriousContradiction with beautiful insomniac. To learn more about her and her poetry go read the interview.

And that's it for this monthly update. Stick around, I know I keep saying it, but we are going to be announcing new and kick ass things very soon.

We heart you,
the pf gals

back to school
Summer time is ending and we're all headed back to school. But still the heat is overwhelming. I think I may have a couple of heat strokes before this thing is over.

I had an amazing summer: seeing Bob Dylan in concert, going to the lake, sailing in the breeze, seeing the city of Chicago (and the musical), interning at a publishing company... it was all worth while.

What was the best part of your summer? Or for the less fortunate, what was the worst?

Anyway, I'm updating to ask you guys a question. If Project Fiction got a twitter account, what kinds of tweets would you like to see? Just regular updates? Some Chester-induced humor? Some Aussie ranting from our dear Ell? Maybe a little bit of everything? Comment below or drop a line in the shout box to talk it over with fellow Project-Fictioners. laughing

Corny, I know.

Hope you all have a good start to your schooling, wherever you may be.
